Small RF Sender Available in 433MHz (Europe) and 315MHz (US)

This sender breakout board enables you to send data on the designated frequency. This is a 3.3V board. You cannot operate it with 5V.

Make sure you purchase the version for the frequency you intend to use. You cannot change the frequency later. In Europe, use the 433MHz version. The 315MHz version is intended for the US market. In Europe, 315MHz is reserved for military services, and you can get in serious trouble when you operate on this frequency.

The chip SYN115 that is used on the breakout board can both send and receive, however the board implements a pure sender. Typically, this sender is sold n packs of two, together with a dedicated receiver breakout board (SYN480R=, implementing a unidirectional data transmission as is commonly needed in remote control scenarios like garage door openers and alike.

Pins

The board comes with three pins plus a solder pad tp connect an antenna.

Always operate these devices with an antenna. If no designated antenna is at hand, use a plain 17.3cm wire for 433MHz, and a 23.8cm wire for 315MHz.
